Have you ever come crossed paths with someone named Glen Nail. I think he used to part of the fire control at all the shuttle launches. I don't know if he has retired yet.

You definitely have an impressive job. I always watch those things go off with amazement! It must give you a phenomenal feeling when that thing blasts off knowing you were instrumental in its success. I went to Satellite Beach HS and remember watching the Saturn V's go off, but I think the shuttle is much more impressive. Some of my friends went to work up there after HS gluing tiles on the shuttle. Take care and be safe!
