Congratulations on a spectacular launch!! You should be proud!

Have you ever come crossed paths with someone named Glen Nail. I think he used to part of the fire control at all the shuttle launches. I don't know if he has retired yet.

Hey Girl! I hate that I haven't been on here much lately. I'm still here, only in short spurts to check things out once or twice a week. Things are busy but not boring. It will slack up soon... I keep telling myself that! LOL
Take care and keep 'em safe!!!

You definitely have an impressive job. I always watch those things go off with amazement! It must give you a phenomenal feeling when that thing blasts off knowing you were instrumental in its success. I went to Satellite Beach HS and remember watching the Saturn V's go off, but I think the shuttle is much more impressive. Some of my friends went to work up there after HS gluing tiles on the shuttle. Take care and be safe!

wondering where u are my dear friend??

Looks like the shuttle needs to start taking a good A&P along to fix it before it returns each time. That is some pretty hard foam!

Suddenly I feel qualified to be an astronaut. I can drink with the best of them! ha ha
Seriously, I wish the media would find something else to focus on.

Very Cool! It is so refreshing to find out there are more like me! I have been so isolated for so many years from women who got into it for the right reasons!

07/11/2007 21:15:13
Nice to know there are alot of women out there turning a wrench where I am at not a whole lot of us...

07/11/2007 16:54:25
What got you interested in aviation? I am always curious what inspires like-minded women to pick up at set of tools and run with them.
