I'm looking for a little input from people who have switched career paths. I am currently with a major airline, and would really like to get OUT and do something else. Hey,I just got out of the military after 15 yrs,I was a airframe mechanic on the p-3 orion.I was a airframe and corrosion inspector/quality assurance rep.I was a AMA1 A school instructor in pensacola for 3 yrs.I instructed sheet metal mechanics,hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. flight control systems and rigging,landing gear and tire and wheel maint.I have been to airframe school in 1993 but I went into the military and never got my ticket.Can I get a job without my ticket?I want to get my A... Latest addition to worked planes

ust in case you guys are wondering what kind of planes I work on.
I am currently working on the Shorts SD3 Sherpa. Operated by the US Army.
The planes that we are getting have completed a tour in Iraq and need a complete reset program. Which is what we do. Everything from the nose to the tail,
tires to roof, wingtips to interior is inspected and refurbished to new.
