I0-320 Lycoming 160Hp. The engine fuel pump has a fitting on the back side with a hose attached and a plastic hose that goes down the gear leg to expel any gas that leaks past the diaphram. Had a leak in the diaphram last year and I installed a new Pump. Now about 50 hours later, this one is leaking. The only way I know its leaking is the odor of fuel on take off and climb out. As soon as I turn off the boost pump there is no odor. As I start the engine the fuel pressure is high psi. When I turn on the boost pump the pressure basically stays at the same psi. This is the typical AC Fuel pump. The plane is a RV/6. Any Ideas?
