Happy New Year....I guess
Posted On 01/01/2008 23:55:47 by BoT2002
I would like to start this off with a Happy New Year to everyone.  I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year celebration.  Mine was nice, I stayed at home with my wife and my dog.  As each new year has arrived I have felt a sense of a new beginning.  Except this year it felt the same and that its just another day. I believe that feeling came from the fact that I'm in the middle of taking online classes, and working on upgrade training. Plus, I'm in the process of moving to Japan for reassignment.  Even when we celebrated christmas it felt different, but I think the reason was because we still had our decorations boxed up ready for moving.  Though I also had a mid-term that was due the day after christmas.  I'm really tired of taking classes, but I keep reminding myself I need this degree.  I'll just be glad when I travel back home because then I'll be finishing those classes, and I'll have some time to work on a Ford Tri-Motor build.  Each time I've gone home I've taken time to go over and assist in the build.  Last time I was home we were cutting the skin sections and installing the window pieces. It is times like now that I wish I wasn't leaving for Japan so I would have more time to test for my A&P because then while I'm home I could work on it more then just on Mondays when the one A&P guy is available. Oh well I will get mine sometime soon, hopefully.  It's too bad I can't get it while I'm oveseas, but I guess I can wait a few years to do it. It will just give me that much more time to prepare I guess.

Again I hope everyone has a Happy New Year, and Keep 'em Flying.
