TAX

Tax  his land,
Tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.

Tax  his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.
Tax  his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax  his ties,
Tax his shirts,
Tax his work,
Tax his  dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries  to think.

Tax his booze,
Tax his beers,
If he cries,
Tax  his tears.

Tax his bills,
Tax his gas,
Tax his notes,
Tax his cash.

Tax him good and let him know
That after  taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers,
Tax him more,
Tax  him until he's good and sore.

Tax his coffin,
Tax his  grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.
Put these words upon his  tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"

COMMENTS:  Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago
And there was  prosperity, absolutely no national debt, the largest middle class in the  world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What the hell happened?????

What happened? This has been happening for years and years. The government is so out of control,  it is unbelievable. Taxes? Taxes?  Wasn't that one of the reasons that the ancestors left England and started a new country? What ever happened to "by the people for the people"  The  government officials are voted into office to insure that the rights of the people are fulfilled. Instead, it has somehow turned around.  What needs to happen is every single American should  research the background and beliefs of the politicians who are running for office and vote for the best one. But the reality is that most Americans do not vote. It's a sad thing.
 Think about how many Americans gave their lives to insure our freedom and right to vote here in the good 'ol USA.

I guess it will not change until the people get sick and tired of being jerked around. I'll put away the soap box now.

The democrats came to office and created the social security system that was Never supposed to be taxed or subsidized by the people. Then they started their montra..tax tax tax, now we have the largest tax increase in US history proposed by them at 400 billion. Damn, and I thought I paid a lot of taxes now. Crap, I better get a second job.
