Yes I've been there. The pacer I posted is my brothers I helped put together an signoff. It has a left hand pilots seaplane door, I sent in for a field approval an was sent back (no approved data). The STC is for a PA-22 not a PA-20. I took it with me to the IA renewal, an had them write out how they wanted it worded, then sent it thru OK, my A/C also was cut for a left door, but it is a PA-22/20. Paper work should be easery Hah. At the moment I am the single mom to 4 of the greatest kids I know and I work my butt off here in town to do it. I was and am going to continue to go to school online through Embry Riddle and finish my degree and futher my career in aviation. I was in the army for almost 10 years and was a helicopter mechanic. Loved every minute of it. I know I don't sound like much compared to some of the people on here. I feel like a peon when I start reading what everyone is doing. I have dreams and goals and though it may take me some time to complete them I will get them done. Determination is the name of the game for me:)
