Hello my fellow mechanics! My name is Ricardo Aguilar (retired U.S. Navy 21 years, aviation) and I am currently employed with DYNCORP INTERNATIONAL as a Quality Inspector. As a contractor our customer is actually the state of California(CAL Fire). Our primary purpose is to maintain/support the state's fleet of firefighting aircraft. Been here seven years, started as a base mech and now Q.A Main office is Sacramento,Ca. From mid October thru middle of May, we conduct Progressive Inspections on a total of 50 acft with 70 mechs. During summer months(fire season) some of our mechs are staioned at 13 air attack bases thru Ca. supporting air tankers, OV10s and hueys with scheduled and unscheduled maint.
