Job Description:
Performs minor and major aircraft maintenance checks, repairs, fabrication, modification, inspection and evaluation of aircraft structures and its associated parts on customer aircraft in accordance with aircraft standard structural work process.
Performs and certifies minor and major aircraft maintenance checks such as inspection and evaluation of aircraft’s primary structures and its associated parts, including galleys and lavatory modules, and cargo containers and trolleys for corrosion damage and structural integrity, repair and replacement of discrepant structures, and corrosion control and prevention based on the company’s maintenance program and customer contracts within the allotted ground time to ensure availability of aircraft during the scheduled output and/or scheduled flight in accordance with applicable repair/overhaul manuals/engineering publication, manufacturers’ specification and airworthiness directives.
Performs and certifies structural repair work and alteration on damaged aircraft in accordance with work specification, repair manuals, engineering publication and manufacturer specifications to return the aircraft to serviceable and airworthy condition.
Performs and certifies removal/installation, repairs, replacement and modification of aircraft removal component and other related removable parts within its shop capability and within the target schedule to ensure serviceable parts availability and on time support during aircraft maintenance operations.
Performs and release to service aircraft components ant its accessories within shop capability and authorization.
Performs and certifies the manufacturer/fabrication of airframe structural in accordance with approved Engineering specifications and drawings to support aircraft checks requirements.
Performs and certifies specialized structural work process (fatigue improvement) in accordance with approved data references.
Obtains all necessary hand tools that will be pursuant to the assigned routine and non-routine work in accordance with approved checklist, equipment and facilities.
Provides control and preventive maintenance measures to all assigned company tools and equipment to ensure serviceability at all times.
Properly signs off work accomplishment in required company and/or customer records and accomplishes forms or documentation requirement, which may be needed in the performance of other duties.
Maintains a clean and neat working areas at all times and follows all Company safety rules and regulations.
Keeps abreast with all work procedures, company policies, standards and procedures, manufacturer specifications and standards, government regulations and contract specifications as applicable on the component, equipment and related accessories for compliance.
Performs related duties including multi-skill task as may be assigned.
