Born and raised in Indiana. Graduated from Purdue University. Love aviation. Married to a very wonderful and sweet Chinese girl.

I have been working on aircraft since 1980. I have worked in practically every aspect of the industry from general aviation to Army choppers, to business jets to commercial jets.

I worked for almost 15 years at ATA Airlines progressing form A&P Mechanic to Lead Mechanic to Maintenance Supervisor.

I have also worked as a Maintenance Manager at a large MRO.

Currently I am working for Panasonic Avionics as a Maintenance Supervisor in Las Vegas.

I enjoy traveling, playing golf, watching auto racing, listening to music, dining out (especially asian food), watching movies and of course working on airplanes. I have performed aircraft maintenance on 5 continents during my career.

Panasonic Avionics is the leader in state of the art In Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems. From design to implementation to support, we help the airlines provide their passengers with an unparalleled flying experience.

hi there...WOW what a race. I'm glad Gordon won, but I'll tell ya what- those last 12 laps were complete torture. His car was SO fast before all of that mess! Oh well, at least he won.

Well, the #24 Dupont Chevrolet found its way back to victory lane. At Talladega no less! The good 'ol boys down there do NOT like him AT ALL. Of course, they hate Jimmie Johnson even MORE. That's OK. I'm very happy.......

10/05/2007 07:17:10
yah! Its 6:15 PM here.

10/05/2007 06:58:10
ohhhhhh mr. davy your online!!!

10/04/2007 08:25:52
Well, I hope Jeff Gordon can pull it off. I've been a fan for a long time. Jimmie Johnson is the points leader right now, and he's a good driver...so we'll just have to wait and see. Talladega is coming up, and that's a big race. And NO, I don't like the Chase setup. I think it sucks...how about you?

Hey Dave, hope you doing good. All the maint. is done by DYNCORP personnel. We currently have about 70 maint. mechs. 15 work on the UH1Ns and the rest are busy with the S2Ts and OV10s. We have 2 mechs devoted to the the barons and 337s. With the exception of the helo mechs, everyone floats from one type aircraft to another. We defenitely do some massive overhauls on the tankers and OV10s during the winter. As for the DC10 I have no idea if CALFIRE still leasing it. We do not perform any maint. on it. In the middle of October we will start our winter maint. The Northern air bases will shut down on Oct 15 and the southern bases will shut down at the end of Oct. We will have 3 S2T maint crews (8 on each crew and OV10 crew (8 mechs). The rest will be busy with special projects and conformity issues. 2 tankers and 1 Ov10 will remain in Hemet and Ramona in case they are needed. Sorry I got so long winded. If you ever have a chance n you find yourslf comin north stop by And I will give you a tour. By the way we do all our maint.

Hey Dave Cal Fire owns three types of aircraft for firefighting, The S2T airtanker(23),OV10 Bronco observer aircraft (13), and the Uh1N huey (15). The old S2A radial engine driven aircraft were replaced by the the turbo prop S2T and are no longer in service. I have no idea how they were able to put their emblem on the DC10, I know they leased it. Calfire also owns 2 barons and 2 cessna 337s (engine forward and back)for logistical purposes. Remember Dave as taxpayers you and I own these aircraft, they are just the custodians. The other aircraft like the P3s and P2s belong to Aerounion out of Chico, Ca. I worked for them for a year so I still have many freinds there. I hope this anwsers your question. Be safe and have a good day
