I am a licensed A&P mechanic that flew Flight Engineer/Flt Mech on C-118B aircraft in the Navy. I am currently having withdrawal symptoms from my desire to get my hands dirty from engine oil and avgas. I was in the Navy for 9 years and worked on a variety of aircraft and graduated from Spartan in 1968. I have worked on Falcons installing interiors in Illinois, flight line mechanic at Willow Run, missle tech at North American Rockwell. With some of those names you cn see I am not a spring chicken but I still want to go back to aviation, bad. I am currently taking a class in watercolors and have reconciled myself to painting aircraft pictures. I am hoping that some of my old shipmates have some photos that I can use. Anyhow, I am good at shooting the bull, and telling hangar tails if anyone wants to listen.
